My Work: Florals

This is my first flower study of a rose in watercolour.

Also a small experiment of Gouache paint.

 

 Here I have used a mixture of Procion dyes (clarent red & deep blue) for a background as I wanted to use bleach to highlight the differet tones of the rose. I used mono print for the shape and shading.
